Chesterfest a huge success!

Monday 20^th – Friday 24^th saw 127 young people join together in All Saints Church, Hoole. 

 

The mornings consisted of worship with YFriday and teaching with Alex Brown along with a number of games and discussions.

During the afternoons the young people and their leaders, headed out to take part in community acts of kindness.  These included things like holiday clubs for children, washing cars, painting school benches, litter picking and running games in local parks.

In the evenings the young people came together again for things like a trip to the cinema, evenings of prayer and praise, a drumming workshop and The Event.

The Event was at The Bishops’ High School on the Friday night and saw Cyba X, YFriday and a message from Alex Brown.

 

The week was a great success and there are many stories to be shared about the week – just ask anyone that was involved or impacted and see what God is doing in our City.
